So I've placed my very first ever two little saltwater babies into my aquarium (55g). What a thrilling day! I have a beautiful Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish named "Moonbeam" and the most interesting Banded Coral Shrimp, who doesn't yet have a name. I understand that my shrimp will need iodine for healthy molting. Will he also benefit from calcium, magnesium and other trace elements? Which are good for him, and which are not really necessary? Will any of these supplements be harmful to Moonbeam or future fishes? Also, when dosing, should I strictly follow the directions on the bottles, or is there a more tried and true amount I should provide? How often should I give these supplements? Everyday? Every other day? Just with water changes? Oh, one other thing, and I do feel a little silly asking, but -- should I attempt to squeeze the supplements directly on my shrimpy little fellow, or are they meant to be simply squirted into the tank? My shrimp & I thank you for any guidance offered!

Bandit should get everything thing from the water changes and proper feeding. The salt that you are using should have all do the natural elements the the shrimp needs. I feed my clown frozen and flakes. Some times pellets that sink to the bottom. Bandit the shrimp will scavenge the bottom for food.

Oh, really? That's great! I wonder why the big fuss about shrimps needing iodine, etc., if it's already taken care of from the Instant Ocean. Well, this is why I asked. Thanks for your response, jsker.
