Honestly had no idea about light needs man. Dunno why but was thinking much higher par!
So they are ok with my params around .1 and 10-20.
How much alk do they use? And where do they like it?
The only Hanna checker I use is the alk because its super easy but only used it a cpl times now.

100% right where you need to be nutrient wise.

Lower light and flow will actually get torches to extend longer as they are looking for the light and flow hahah

The only reason you see higher par is to get vendor colors. Which is nice but not necessary.

Thats exactly where I keep my tank.

Alk 8.5-9 yup daily swing and everything is fine

At first the torches won't use much alk but the more they grow the more you will see used.

in my 220 and with 30 torches, 6 meat corals, all the shrooms and a handful of other corals I only go through 48ml of alk a day.

when I started I just tested alk at 12, 6, 12 and 6 and recorded how much alk was used for the day. Then split that into as many dosing as I could throughout the day. Some times it is 4 sometimes it is 8. the more the better for stability.

And for me depends on who's home lol

The more stable the alk and nutrients stay the more growth I notice.

Tck came through with 2 of the 4 shrooms on order so of course pics!

1st Red bubble bounce

2nd New "NEW" Release, kind of look like the "last one they released but this has bounces on the inside and not on the skirt....no name yet and apparently me and @ADAM are the 1st to get them.

Yup a mix of 3 hydras and 2 radion xr30....the hydras came with the tank and I use them all for the spread. Only run at 15% overall intensity on all lights. Still gets me 250-300 par on torches and about 80-100 on the floor.

I haven't committed to a hybrid system yet but that may be what's next hahah

Right between 175-220.

When mp40s off its 220 when they are on it swings around 175-200.

Definitely add MOAR LAMP
