I am fairly new to this. Only 3-4 months in. I have a 29 gallon with HOB odyssea skimmer, 2 HOB filters (one with carbon and one with purigen) I am getting a ton of surface bubbles that keep popping and covering my light, stand, and filters in a lot of salt spray. What can I do to help with
This? Any ideas?

Thank you

Could get a lid for tank, or just add a sump or canister filter. I would go for the sump if you are able, best thing you can do for reef

What can I do with what I have right now? Overflow box and have the return go into it? It would at least minimize it to one small area...

Get a canister, instead of HOB filters, stops some of the spray. Also get a tank cover and only use the back half. For the microbubbles, is it your skimmer

Turn off your valve to the HOB skimmer. Wait a few days, then turn 1/2 each day until they go away. It takes awhile.

I have HOB skimmer it did same thing. Also does it after I clean it. You will learn how much to open the valve. Be patient. Good luck

Could also cut some plexi glass for the back part of tank if that doesn't work. When I ran hob skimmer I always had trouble so I cut something to catch the bubbles.
