Surface movement and light

I just had a thought and was hoping that you guys could clarify.
Can too much surface movement affect light penetration? For example if your power heads are pointed upward causing constant surface movement over an area will this cause light to not penetrate as much as it would normally?
 
No, that will not really change light penetration, depth and water clarity are going to be the two main things that you should take into consideration (mostly depth).
 
Not with the flow and movement we have in our tanks.
It might make a difference when you have a Cat 5 hurricane in your room where the tank is but other than that lets move that surface water, and it's good for a stable PH. ;)
