Thinking about getting one of these. I have a sumpless tank and a bit of surface film. Got tons of surface agitation but you can still see it. Can this easily hook up to my remora skimmers mj1200?

Thanks crabs. Thats a better idea. It has its own pump, and the thing is small. Its portable/removable as well. If i dont like it in the tank, i can just use it to clean the surface, and then take it out. Im also curious if i could remove its filter pad, and just use it to pull the surface gunk down into the water column for my skimmer.

I would leave the filter pad in, only because you don't want something getting sucked into the impeller on accident :) (you just never know)

I just hate filter pads for the obvious reasons. But if i clean it out with tank water every weekly waterchange, it should be good?
Yup! my buddy cleans his every sunday when he does his tank maintenence (water change, filter sock swap, ect....)
