Surface Skimmer?

hey y'all,

I need to get some sort surface skimming going on my tank. I have been looking for DIY ideas for my AquaClear filter but I just stumbled upon an "Eheim Skim 350"

Does anybody have any experience with that product?? I like that it floats instead of being attached by magnets or stationary as I don't have an ATO hooked up.

Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Yep I have one, it does it's job very well. I clean out the sponge weekly. Even cut up a few extras from a filter sponge. Another product of eheim's that I am more than pleased with.

I'm thinking it might be worth buying this and not messing with a DIY skimmer for my AquaClear.
