So when doing tank maintenance today, I saw this fella on what was very dead rock. The rock had been live rock but when I had a tank crash early in the year with my first tank I took all the rock out, saved it and started with fresh rock. I decided to add it to the tank I have now as I figured anything bad was long dead. When I put the piece in it was pure white with no life. Now a few months later it’s definitely fully back to being live rock with stuff on and apparently in it. So Surprise!
