Surprise find!

So I was cleaning off my glass this morning and casually watching everything and something caught my eye. On the sand bed, gently rolling around was a ric/yuma! No idea where he came from as I have never had any in my tank before....At least I'm pretty sure it's a ric/yuma? So I quickly grabbed a small dish and threw in some rubble and added him to it. I made him a nice little cage out of knitting mesh to make sure he stayed put while attaching to a piece of rock.
My question is this, will he color back up? Right now he is pretty much completely transparent with his nubs having a light green tint. Very minimal color. Either way, it was a pretty exciting find!


He is currently about the size of a quarter

As Long as it does well it will be what ever color its supposed to be.

Nice find! Give it some time and it will bounce back. These guys are resilient, for sure. Keep us updated.
