So I just recently reconfigured my refugium, taking out a lot of rock to make room for chaeto. Algae started growing down in the fuge, so I grabbed a few snails and threw them in there, and then I spied a stomatella. So I grabbed the guy, and dropped him in, but in my hand was a white sponge like thing.... Then it started moving! I realized that it was the Stomatella's "tail" end of the foot. I've heard that they can release their "tail" like lizards release their tails to get away from predators.

Anyways, I have this squriming tail in my hand, and I thought, "Let's try using this as food!" So I dropped it into a Bubble Tip Anemone, and it grabbed on and sucked it up!

This got me curious.... anyone else find surprising things to feed their tank, from their tank?
