Lost the awesome BTA I got from you. Got suked into a tunze pump and chopped it up. :( Cry.............................

the BIG one that I had nurtured from a tiny one for YEARS? How could it get into your pumps in that whopping big tank of yours? My faith in you is totally destroyed now. That was a beautiful rose nem!!! My little one is getting bigger, but I'm sure it won't split for quite some time..... Was yours in your frag tank? It just didn't like you as much as me!!! Oh Boo Hoo!!! My poor little wandering path of destruction rose nem!!!!

Sorry Susan I am a failure....

It was in my clown tank...

I'm am just WAY beyond crushed. I thought that i could trust you to take care of my sweet little baby path of destruction. It was lovely. And I guess it was so chopped up, that there's nothing even left to bury (or flush as the case maybe...)

Yea I have been keeping BTA's for a while and never had this happen. It must have committed susancide.

I am in the market for BIG RBTA. :)

PM me with what you have please.

wow that stinks. I have a RBTA that is 1 foot across fully open, not for sale.. but it would absolutely kill my desire to have a tank anymore if I lost it after losing all my fish early this month...

Best of luck finding a replacement!

Should have let me get it susan, I wouldnt have KILLED it! HEHE

I really think that it was so unhappy going to another tank that it committed Davicide!!!! NOT Susacide!!! Those are only Powder Blue tangs that do that!!! And it was FINE at my house. Happily splitting into 3 every 2 years. But now, oh no..... Not at all. It felt the need to commit Davicide!!!

I should have sold it to you Bryan. At least it would still be ALIVE.

RBTA's mostly split when they are unhappy or stressed.

So david, how many times did it split when it hit the pump in your tank? LOL!

I wouldnt steer clear, just be cautious! cover powerheads when adding one to the tank, and once its happy and settled they can be uncovered. (at least I did, and I hope it doesnt bite me in the but later). I've had my RBTA for 6 months now and it is doing ok.. It was doing better before I lost all my fish and stopped feeding it every 2-3days. but its making it on every other week feedings and MH lighting just fine :P
