I’m trying to figure out how to suspend these mangroves in my tank so the roots can grow out everywhere. They aren’t long enough to be in the tank on their own. Even the one I have now is too deep. Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

Mangroves like to grow their roots in mud or rocks so I'd build a rock tower for them. The rocks for this mangrove were drilled with diamond bits bought at a local home improvemnt store and held together with three pieces of PVC pipe. A large pece of limestone was used fo rthe base and set on several smaller stones themselves set on pieces of eggcrate hidden under thasand to disribute the weight and to give fish a hiding place.

Zip tie them to some type of acrylic rod or some small pvc pipe. Kinda like putting them on stilts.
