Suzi's 10g Office Tank

The last of my goodies came today!
Now for the worst part.... the waiting...
Of course all the patients and staff are saying, "ok, so where are the fish???"

I did add in several empty shells and some rubble rock from my home tanks to seed it.
Touched base with @tsmaquatics about the clownfish I want to add in.
I also have several frags put "aside" in my home tanks where they are already showing some growth and most likely a couple more coming before the end of the year.

Wow!! Congratulations Martina.. What a fantastic win!! Looks beautiful. I would go with a pair of Wyoming white clowns or another white designer clown to stand out against the black, and then A couple nems and then a nice colorful Zoa garden.

I was leaning toward the phantom clowns. I don't know what it is about the white ones, but they just don't do anything for me.

Happy New Year from my work tank!
All is very happy in my newest build!
Everyone in this tank is named after someone in the office!
Besides the pair of clowns (Noah & Agata - named after the Dr & NP that made this little beauty happen)
I brought one of the BTAs from my 20g at home last week, and Sarah (yes, even this nem has a name) is settling in well!
Also added 3 sexy shrimp (Mary, Erika, Suzi), a couple hermits and some small snails.
The patients absolutely LOVE the tank!!!
I cannot express in words how happy this makes me!!!!
This is the whole reason I wanted to do a work build.
Just last week, a lovely gentleman was so excited that the closest chair to the tank was open, and he was enamored by the tank his whole visit.
Sadly, we were told today this patient passed away over the weekend. But I will never forget seeing his eyes light up as he watched them beg for food like little puppies! That will forever be my lasting memory of him!

Tested the water today.
Looking pretty good.
Removed a little bit of water so the ATO will kick on and bring the salinity down a smidge.

Alk @ 10 and pH @ 8.6 - the corals should grow like crazy!

Ok thats better. I was hoping to win it. What I was going to do was breed mysis shrimp as feeders.

oh boy that would scare me. One escaped "feeder" and a few months later it is the "feedie"

I only have some zoas and a mushroom in there at the moment, but I have seen new polyps already in the week since I put them in!
I did also add a small red monti and the plug from my garf bonsai that had some polyps left on it. We will see how they do!

I do love me some zoas... and I have a NiCrew 30w light that grows them nicely!
It also did sustain 2 BTAs.
Maybe zoas, euphyllia, & some nems??

Just wanted to share this
This is my awesome boss, the wonderful man who is funding my work tank, which our patients absolutely adore!
Too bad this article was written just prior to the start of my build. I'm sure he'll be on the cover again, as this wasn't his first time! Hoping to have him in front of the little tank next time!

I'm not currently using the Nicrew. I have a ReefBreeders Nano on this tank, and the one the NiCrew was on, now has a SmatFarm 95w that's really awesome.
