I added some corals recently but I’ve noticed that my inherited GHA and cyano seems to be liking my new light as well. I’ve read that chemiclean is a good way to get rid of them, but should I be adding a phosphate pad as well? All my numbers check out really well, but I’m too new to know what to do about it.

If it's a new tank GHA and other type of algea are normal. Don't use chemicals. What does your filtration consist of?
