Hello guys just swallowed Hanna reagent on accident and immediately made my self throw up but wanted to make sure I shouldn’t go to hospital lol

I grabbed the wrong cup to drink from took a tiny sip realized it was the wrong one and forced myself to throw up!

Wrong pouch for fundip, or had the 5 hour energy too close while testing alk is where I put my money.

I am sorry I shouldn't make a joke, call poison control and give them the info. They probably have quick access to the SDS and even if they don't, they will know what to do.

Yahah thank you! I feel like a total idiot I even tasted it and thought to myself what a new flavor Gatorade is this

For anyone’s knowledge if you ever need I had the nitrate high range and phosphate. The phosphate is more dangerous one and both if you drink should be diluted with water and you should not throw yourself up like I did

I had two cups one for drinking and one for chemicals (so I can dispose of the chemicals properly) and I got preoccupied with something else came back and took a sip and the second I swallowed realize the mistake I made

It depends. The reason you shouldn't throw up poisons is because there is a chance to inhale them, which would make it even worse.

Some poisons are so potent though (in particular some specific pesticides), the body is going to absorb a lethal dose before doctors have a chance to flush them out.

Btw: low range Hanna phosphate tests contain some somewhat carcinogenic chemicals.
