Just a few quick and lousy shots of swap frags

Taken under the L.E.D..still going to have to play with the new cam and figure out shooting under the L.E.D.'s...much harder than under MH lights. Any and all crappy-ness is the photographer..lol.

Andy.. best I've found to do is put it on aperature priority, set it wide open and keep the ISO under 400. Shoot them in raw so you can bring into Photoshop or gimp you can set the white balance precisely to your color. If you don't want to go the Photoshop route stick a white plate in the tank and zoom in on it and snap a pic. Then manually set the white balance on that.

My lights are in the 14k range so its super easy for me to hit the color dead on..

Here are some pictures of the corals I got from High Def Corals. Still new to keeping corals so I just got a couple of soft corals. They are doing great so far. I just need to get some more base rock to fill the tank out more.

duke594, those are awesome starter corals! good choices for sure. Did you join the club at the swap?

No, I joined back in February. You have got me hooked on corals. :) I just haven't been able to make anying meetings yet. I am hoping to make it to the meeting in May.

Duke.. that Nepthea will grow nicely. I have one in my tank that stand about 12" tall. Great starter corals. Same with that Xenia. give them a nice bouncing flow and they do well. believe it or not, they like dirtier water.

Also, thanks to all that made this swap possible. We had a great time and hope to make it again next year! Dowtish were you the one that was telling me you put in water towers?
