Hi! I have a 13.5 Evo that I could possibly trade for the Fluval 32.5. What would be the best way to transfer my fish and coral?

I plan on having buckets with airstones and heater. All my inhabitants are small so it shouldn't be a huge issue.

How do I keep my coral from dying during the swap? I have a mix reef with LPS, Softies and a couple SPS.

Place everything in a temporary 'tank'. This could be anything like a tub, etc. large enough to accommodate everything. An airstone is fine but I'd also look at a small wavemaker for circulation. You'll probably want to separate the sand, whether you rinse/clean the old sand, replace with new or some combination thereof.

After you've setup the new tank, add some Bio-Spira (or equivalent), your sand, old/new rock, corals, fish, inverts, etc. Voila - you're good to go.
