Hello new here, I currently have a Pentagon corner tank with some hardy corals. I'm using a canister filter and reef central light with a hang on back protein skimmer however the tank has sprung a leak. I am considering ordering the red sea max e 170 45 gallon. I am wondering if I break down my tank and set this one up with my water from the old tank and my live rock will i see any cycle that will be detrimental to my livestock. I'll see if I can attach some pics of my tank. Thanks in advance for any feedback

Rinse all the sand and substrate really well until it rinses clean.

What size is your current tank?

If the new tank is going to be a lot larger than use all the old water.

The current tank is 40 -45 gallons. Si.ilar in size to the tank I'm looking at. I am planning on putting in new sand
