Swayds 60G cube

I finally got my cube and I love it! Keepin it simple this time around and keeping up with maintenance. This system was set up for about 4 months with very little livestock and I just let it sit and do its thing. I just moved last week and everything survived so now its time to start stocking this bad boy! My plan is to stock heavily on acropora on the rocks and keep a bunch of zoas on the sand and lower regions of the aquascape. I will be adding some LPS in the back corners of the tank but that will come later as I want to really beef up my SPS collection first and then move into chalices.

My alk was at 7Dkh so I dosed 3 teaspoons of baking soda and 3 teaspoons of kalk mix to my ATO. Hopefully I can bring my ALK and calcium back up, they were pretty low when I tested yesterday. I just hope my top off doesnt decide to malfunction and dump everything in the tank lol. Any tips on dosing this stuff Ive never dosed before?
Oh I also forgot to mention I am dosing 10ml of acropower every Tuesday to see how this stuff works. This is only my second week and I have seen no difference but I will give it another month before I decide whether I like it or not.

So alk has been super stable now that I am doing noral water changes and have fine tuned my kalk dosing. Apart from that I have purchased a new 40B that has now been drilled, plumbed, cycled 30lbs of rock for 6 weeks and has a Jebao RW-8 ready to go. I will be connecting this 40B to my 60 cube so I got myself a Jebao DC-9000 to be able to handle the flow. With that said all I need now is to wait for some more salt and the return U-tube to get this all going and eventually will order my light probably early March if not next week.

60 cube is still chugging along with some new acros. everything is growing extremely well except for my duncans I have had for 5 years. Hopefully I can get some pictures in tonight!

This was just a small broken off branch two months ago the mother it came from is actually growing super slow in low light.

The new stuff. Hopefully I can take better pictures on the glass tank because taking pictures through the acrylic 60 cube really sucks.
