Hello again everyone,
As you all might know Im in the process of tearing down my 46bow front and transfering coral to my 20H frag tank right now. I am also planning a build from scratch.
This will serve as a trial and error, and this is my first time building a tank so I might not be successful. I will be taking tons of pictures, even of the simple drawings I draw out at work hehe.
Plans:

36"wide X 36"long X 18"high APPROX. 100G... Plate glass, sanded edges, clear glass. front/back and side panels 3/8" bottom panel 1/2"

Center overflow with 2x1.25" drain and 2x1" returns

DIY stand 42"W X 42"L X 36"

If tank is successful I might try building a sump but I will probably just use a 20Long(rimless of course)

Thats all for now! Will post pics of my silly drawings soon!

Looking forward to it!

Please include lots of pictures :)

Yes of course haha.
Can I get a second opinion on the glass thickness. Would 3/8"be enough for 100g or should I go 1/2" all around?

I've been looking around and it seems people base the glass thickness on the height of the tank. I think I might just go with 1/2" to be safe.

Already changing plans and using 1/2" for front/back and sides. Also will be using 3/4" for bottom just to be safe!
