trying to build my sump to fix the skimmer before i get the skimmer. i know the skimmer is 9x7x20. im having issues witht eh skimmer output. is that tube with in that 9x7 or is it outside of it. im looking to making my sump chanber for the skimmer 10x9 but not sure i will have enought room with the output if its outside of that 9x7. can anyone help me here.

whats the measurement from the base of the skimmer to the bottom of the output hole.

Hmm, are you asking me how high the output hole is above the base or are you asking me the largest footprint measurement is so from the output to the other side? It will literally sit on a 9x7.5" cutout. The 9" is the largest dimension.

i got if i just made it 10x10 i dont need to know the output on hight over the base. thanks for your help
