SWC 250 Skimmer help

I have an SWC Extreme skimmer. It had two sicce psk 2500 needlewheel pumps with venturi. I had to replace both pumps. I got the same pumps but these are not needle wheel I swapped the venturis. The old pumps impellers were bad. Here is a pic of the new pumps impeller. I have one needle wheel top. I was going to try to swap it onto the the new impeller but it doesn't loom like it comes apart. Here are some pics. I have pulled hard on it. I don't want to break it. Anyone know if these come apart? The new pumps won't make microbubbles. In fact with the venturi from the old pumps they are very loud. I don't know what to do to get it all running. Maybe its the needlewheel it needs? I don't know.

You should be able to get the needle wheels for those impellers, no? Or specific impellers with needle wheels?

Yeah. I think they are glued on. So I cannot just swap the needlewheel plastic from the old pump. Yes I can get the needlewheels but I can't get the yellow plastic off. It seems that the part that keeps it snug is glued.

Have you put an email in to Sicce? They can probably tell you if they're upgradeable or you need to swap-in a different impeller. It looks like that model can be ordered with or without the needle wheel.

I have. They checked with the warehouse. I guess the skimmer manufacturer is the one who adds the needlewheel. Sicce says they cannot. I tried to ask if I can remove the yellow plastic. It doesm't seem like it can me done. They have helped me a lot and I think I getting in their nerves. I do have the needle wheel plastic. Just no way to get the yellow plastic off.

The entire impeller is like $45 with the needle wheel. So not sure when or if I will buy two. My Rio 2100 runs my Reef Dynamics Skimmer with only a venturi. It had a standard impeller. But I can't see any other reason it doesn't work besides the fact that there is no needle wheel. Also as I said the pumps are very loud when the venturi tubes are connect. So maybe the impellers aren't prcessing the air a needle wheel can.
