Swc 250 skimmer

Anyone have any information on the swc 250 skimmer? I just purchased it for a large shark tank. Hoping to hear some positive things it is supposedly a quality skimmer. Thanks

Thanks i probably looked at the same thing as you. I tried to over do it with the skimmer on this setup.

swc 250 skimmer

Depends on what year. I think thats what I have from 20 years ago. Mine is a dual pump external skimmer. modded it with 2 aquatrance 3000 pumps . SWC has always been a decent company and mine despite being outdated, does a great job at skimming my 300g system. Not fancy not a cone shape, and no bubble plate, and no DC pump. If I change ill go octopuss 250 ext but im not wasting money when this old clunker works so well.
