swc cone skimmers

anyone have experience using them, I am looking at the cone 250 with askoll pump. advise?

i have a 250 1a cone and it is a beast, most trouble i had was getting the right water level otherwise produces some espresso grade coffee

There is a really good review of the 250A Cone on RC. It's a pretty long thread with some good pictures and stats. Super solid skimmer from the sounds of it.

I have the MiniS Cone, purchased, used from Luke. It's an AMAZING skimmer and doing a heck of a job on my 200 deep dimension!! I empty the skimmer cup (nice large sized cup, which I love) about once a week, and have to use a toothbrush to clean the green/black sludge from the sides of the cup and neck of the skimmer. In the past, I thought I had a decent skimmer. The first time I emptied the MiniS cup, and STUNK up the entire house, for an entire day, I knew I'd had crappy skimmers in the past.

I have a 250a, minicone, 160 extreme,and 200extreme an all are awesome,but the cones are monsters!!!!!

Here's what my 160 cone has been blessing me with every two days on 125g. Smells fantastic just ask my wife.
