Say hypothetically there is a tank with bubble tips would it be safe to have lps such as torch, hammer, bubble, fungia, brian coral running with carbon filtration

If those type of corals are ok what are other corals with sweeper tentacles that are low maintenance

What I'm trying to ask is could you keep corals with sweeper tentacles with anemone's if you have them spaced and use carbon filtration

Carbon only comes into play for chemical warfare. Sweeper tentacles have nematocysts that actually sting a coral, charcoal is of no help. However offering ample real estate is a good plan but anemones do get up and move.

Or u could do like I did and make a tank just for nems.....nothing like a tank full of swaying tentacles...☺

You never know sometimes the coral can kill the anemone also, the best thing to do is let the anemone find it's place in the tank furst and then you can place coral giving each enough real estate to grow

This tank has been running for years and i was thinking that the sweepers would actually keep newer bubble tips from over populating also I know the carbon is for the chemical "warfair" there is close too five bubble tips in that tank all staying in the same spots they have been in for years

Also a tomato clownfish is hosting the largest and oldest of them

So would aggsive corals like torch hammer plate acans ect

My concern would be a roaming BTA and not chemical warfare. My BTAs usually find a spot and stick around for several months. Sometimes I get a stray / wanderer and need to wrangle him. I have no experience with LPS + BTA though - just softies.
