My new pintail wrasse developed swim bladder issues (I think) day 7 into its quarantine.

What I have tried:
- fed metro with focus (he still eats mysis from my hand)
- kanaplex and chloroquine phosphate bath for 3 days
- just fed him peas (pretty sure he swallowed some)

What should I try next?
- epsom salt bath
- relieving swim bladder with hypodermic needle

Also, I really don't want to make this little suffer longer than he has to. At what point should I concede that he isnt going to recover and euthanize him?

Is it safe to use with CP and Kanaplex?
Yes, it's generally safe to dose CP and antibiotics. But as always your mileage could vary. You just never know how a particular fish will react to meds.

There's not much more that you can do at this point, and unfortunately I'd be surprised if it recovered at this point. I'd give it 5-7 days to wait for any improvement, but if things are more of the same at that point...
Sorry :(

Update:

He died.

Only thing I didnt try was the hypodernic needle to drain the bladder.

If I could do it again, I would have started with the epsom salt bath. He definitely **** out a lot of parasites.
