Swim bladder or something else

I'll check after work...other idea he's alive wedged in a rock I can't see

Not trying to give you false hope

But......

I think he is alive and the female scared him into the overflow box he could have went further down into a filter sock or sump pre-sump area etc..

Or he jumped out of the tank flipped & flopped under furniture etc...

they can travel far when they are out of water

I have checked everywhere at this point, not in sump, socks or overflow. Checked floor everywhere near by... maybe he was eaten? At this point I just don't know. Will continue to monitor ammonia and nitrite for awhile

Sudden death is very rare
Unless you have a shrimp or crab that would “help” it die
I guess all you can do is wait
Was looking forward to better news oh well [emoji17]
