I have checked everywhere at this point, not in sump, socks or overflow. Checked floor everywhere near by... maybe he was eaten? At this point I just don't know. Will continue to monitor ammonia and nitrite for awhileNot trying to give you false hope
But......
I think he is alive and the female scared him into the overflow box he could have went further down into a filter sock or sump pre-sump area etc..
Or he jumped out of the tank flipped & flopped under furniture etc...
they can travel far when they are out of water
He's been acting strange (stranger then the usual) and hadnt ate in months. Unfortunately he had something wrongSudden death is very rare
Unless you have a shrimp or crab that would “help” it die
I guess all you can do is wait
