Swimming against glass, normal?

My two baby clownfish keep swimming up against the glass. I saw online somewhere it might be stress related, other places say it’s pretty normal for clownfish... which is it? Lol

is there a way to make it stop?

Called “pacing” and it’s fairly normal for new fish or fish that Are stressed. Its definitely a common thing. I have a majestic doing it right now after I moved him from qt to dt yesterday. It stresses me out a bit watching, but as long as the water is good and they’re eating then I wouldn’t worry too much about it just yet.

They’re are eating fine, but they’ve been in the tank about a week, I did do a water change on it today so maybe that’s it? Is there a time limit they should quit this by?

Almost all my fish do it when I walk into the room. Pretty sure they're just begging for food... Try to peek around the corner and see if they're doing it when the room is empty.

Many fish do this. As long as they’re not twitching or itching against the glass- should be normal

It almost looks like they’re chasing their reflections in the glass until I googled it and saw it happens a lot. They normally just go up to the top of the tank expecting food when I go close by lol

I have had success on occasion by temporarily placing a black towel over that portion of the glass (when it’s a lighting/reflection thing), and by rearranging rocks. I agree it can be annoying until it subsides. I agree it is also useful to observe them from afar, to see whether it only happens when you approach the tank and they think they are getting fed.
