I'm curious if anyone knows what this is my my glass (plastic)... Seem harmless and cleaned off easily I've just never seen this pattern before.

I see what you mean. It came on very quickly and rubbed off easily.

Well soon after that I had an explosion of pods so perhaps those were just eggs.

Or maybe something that eats pods...
