So I ordered reef breeders 72w Cree fixtures few weeks ago. I received them about a week ago and I hooked them up but I hooked one up to my Neptune apex to test my dimming profiles and they worked nice. So then I hooked up 2nd and the whites didn't work. Well I found out the hard way I needed to hook up both at same time. Contacted Logan at ReefBreeders and he said ship them back no problem. He paid for shipping both ways and I had drivers back in 4 days.

I love this lights. Only at 20% right now to acclimate corals. I'll let ya know how my sunset program works tonight.

Btw wanted to say how awesome Logan is at customer service. I had issues connecting them the night I recorded them. Thru about 20 emails late on Friday night Logan we were able to get them up and running. Then found out fuse was blown because of way I hooked them up. But repaired by Logan and returned before the holiday weekend.

After pics next.

Had to fashion my own hanging system. It was included but wires were too long since mine would go to ceiling and I want to be able up use these nifty ratchet hangers so I can raise and lower lights.

Looks great!I have 3 of the bridgelux fixtures from logan for about a month now and i am loving them!!!

I'm guessing the camera is picking up that red a lot more then what is actually visible. I also have a cree fixture, but I don't see that type of banding.

More.

Only 20%. I bumped it to 50% for sec before just to see. That is bright. Won't be there for month or so.

Sunset program seemed good. I'm sure I got some tweaking to do over next few weeks.

I do see some red spotting and green spotting. Maybe lights too low?? About 6" off water right now. I have blues and whites both at 20%. I think I'll eventually have whites higher than blues. Maybe that will lessen red and blue?

I will get more pics Tom.

Mike, removing the optics from the colors will help spread things out. Also, I reccomend about 8-10", maybe a little more without optics. Whatever works for you is fine, either method will spread the colors out.

Oh ok I will raise lights. Will do that first thing n AM. Not gonna take off optics just yet.

I live off fischer blvd. Close to rt 37. Few blocks away from Obcos donuts.

yea my friends shop is out that way automotive elegance. cool nice to know another person from around the way. im right behind charlie browns on hooper ave.

So I have been getting a Flash of light after lights out. I have it ramping down for few hours then after hits 0% I have the driver plug go off. Then I get a flash of whites then a flash of blue. Anyone else get this with apex?? Oddly doesn't do it on light start up tho. My guess the flash is 1 sec and it goes up to 20% which is what I have my lights running at now. Could even get a video of it Tom night.

Mike, that is the meanwells, they do that to me on my diy fixture also. I have no clue why, but others have confirmed it as well.
