So, I have a 20 gallon im nuvo fusion with 2 bubble tip anemones, 2 clowns, a Midas blenny, and cuc

I want to downgrade to an even smaller tank because I want to put it on my kitchen counter.

Thinking of re-homing the Midas blenny to someone with a big tank. And just keeping the nems and clowns in the fluval.
Would this be ok?

I want to also downgrade from my ai prime to the fluval stock light (to have a low profile under kitchen cabinets)
What’s the process of transferring to a new tank/cycling a new tank with rocks from my current established tank?

thank you!

It would be fine, but more work since it's smaller. You would simply move everything over. No extra steps needed. Some would recommend new sand but that it up to you and how clean you think it is (you can also just take a scoop of your old sand and mix it with the new). I find it easiest to not reuse any old water.

Becareful with a tank in the kitchen though as it will be easier to accidentally get cleaners or other things in range if the tank :)
