Switched blue led light bar to t5

as title says I switched my led blue bar to 2 t5 24 watt t5 actinics. They say the actinics give out a better color pop. Any thoughts? I'm gonna play it out for a few weeks and see if it changes any color in tank

I wouldn't expect much difference. The spectrum of blue that make corals fluoresce are the same whether they are produced by led or t5. And I wouldn't expect the amount of 'pop' to change over time either. IMHO pigments in corals are more likely to change due to intensity (PAR) then due to a tiny spectrum shift between leds and t5.

Thats kinda what I'm expecting but thought hey why not try since I have it. Just hope I don't shock the crap outta my coral if/when I switch back to led bar haha.

also yes its deep but I have ran par numbers and I get between 90 and 110 on bottom and a little around 250 to 300 at top of rock (w Mars aqua led and lumi lite led) not sure with this set up

I know i watched that and see these t5 have more range in their color spectrum than the blue led bar. It was my inspiration to try this lol
