Switched salts & now having issues

I switched from fritz to RS pro a week ago and since then my LPS are not looking so good. All we’re open and full before and now most haven’t opened at all. Any ideas?? Thanks guys!

I just tested and here’s where I’m at:

Salinity 1.26
Alk 8.0
Cal 410
Mag 1310
Nitrates- 0

The alk in rs pro is much higher than fritz. Judging by your parameters it might not be the issue but something to consider

It looks like you need to start dosing. If your alk is dropping that much in between water changes, your corals aren’t going to be happy.

Fritz runs lower alk (around 7) so my 5 gal water change raised it up to 8.3 last week. Could the swing in alk be the cause?

Oh I see. Yea that could be the cause. Your corals will adjust over time, id do a 5gal water change every week until they adapt. Then go bi weekly and larger water volume or whatever you prefer doing.
