currently im running only 4-5 larger marine pure ceramic bio balls but i cam up on a pack of their pearls which are signficantly smaller and will have more sureface area i as wondering how would you go about switching over. i have not rinsed the current bio balls in 9 months and i got a significant amount rock in the tank prolly more than i really need.
