Switching Biopellet Manufacturers

Hi Everyone. This is my first post! Hope I'm doing it right.

I am wondering the procedure for switching biopellets. I was using Two Little Fishies, now i want to try Ecobak Plus.

Can i switch them all out at once? Im thinking i can because its about the bacteria and not the pellet. Or am i wrong? Thanks!

If its just about bacteria why switch pellets? I appilogize if this sounds rude not meant to be.. I also use biopellet.. Just wondering benefit of this.. Not alot of info on this that i can find

Also are you running your pellets in a recirculating reactor as an effluent drip.. Or in a non recirculating reactor..

Thanks for the reply. I am switching because ecobak plus talks about utilizing many different bacteria, which may help with phosphate control.

I'm also hoping it tumbles a little better. I have a 700gph sicce syncra 3.0 on a tlf 550 reactor. I have to clean it every 2 weeks to get them to tumble well again.

I run mine in a phos ban 150 i feed it of a manifold with its own gate valve for flow control.. Its water supply is feed from my return pump.. I also direct the out flow of reactor towards my skimmer intake to help pick up some of bio waste.. I use the two fishes npx bio plastics.. They have not clumped .. I did inherent a bag of thrive bio plastics also .. I have both in one reactor
