Switching Controllers from Apex to GHL

I hear no noise and nothing happens when I select diagnosis, or internal pump, or internal pinch valve.

@Gonzo74 - I would get a support ticket open on the unit. The warranty on the unit is 2 years. The diagnostic mode is used in conjunction with working with GHL Support to determine the issue, I am not sure on all the in and outs on how the diagnostic buttons work, and if they need to be pressed a certain way, or during certain modes of operation.

I opened a support ticket and a return ticket. I’m sure they will reach out to me first to figure it out over support and then initiate a return if necessary.

Thanks for always helping out, ALL of you.

Since ghl only tests alk, what do people use to test ca and mg? I see that the new ion director is coming out, but are there other options?

@Murica - I been manually testing them both.

On one tank I am doing three part from Aquaforest and just testing alkalinity and dosing the 3 the same it been keeping the other two parameters spot on. I manually test them every two weeks.

On the second tank I am using a CX reactor, and been also testing it manually but this one is once a month.

Both systems I log the results in the logbook of the controller.

Following along to figure out what pieces and parts I'm going to need for my setup.

Once you take a good look at ghl profilux controller you realize how much functions its packing.
Box come ready with

Ph
Salinity
Temp
Redox
Leak detection
Flow meter(just add flow meter)
ATO (just add floats or optic sensors)
Kh tester ready( directly connect to kh director)
Ion director ready(directly connect to the coming ion director)
Doser ready
Wifi enabled
Outlet monitoring
And more. Not much modules are needed which means less wires, less spending and less space.

Futher more any explanation will go directly in the box, so you will not need external modules, wires and power supplies.

Power strip is so powerful and solid build.

The cloud interface and the app are great and intuitive, ine page will show you all you need to know and done. No need to check and look through pages to see if something working or not.
Great controller

@vangvace - Are you having a specific issue? Is it not working? Which kessil light?

I believe it is part lack of proper tools and part cheap cable. I'm connecting to a string of 4 Kessil A360Ws. The wires themselves are thin stranded and breaking while being stripped or not staying in the block when tightened. I am going to look into getting a better pair of strippers, solid core cable, or break out the soldering iron to tin the wire.

I had a request to put all the charts I did into one post and not multiple which was a great idea. I also expanded the controller comparison based on numerous PM and request.
