Hey guys, I’ve been manually dosing fusion 1 and 2. I’m running out of it soon so I ordered ATI essentials pro. I also have the jebao 4 dozer which I’ve already calibrated. My question is where do I go from here? F1 and 2 have different potency levels vs the diluted version I’ll be using. I dose F1&2 2 caps every 5 days and amino acids twice a week. How do I figure out the difference? Is there a way to calculate that? My parameters are:

Temp 77-79
sal 1.026
Ca 435
Alk 12.1
Mg 1350
Ph 8.3
Am 0
No2,No3 0

livestock:

1 gbta
2 rbta
3 clowns
1 lawnmower blenny
2 sea urchins
2 sand sifting stars
1 blood shrimp
1 peppermint shrimp

About 30 frags of coral recently added from RAP Orlando. Any help would be appreciated and thank you!

Do you know the potency of what you were using?

Or do you know the alk demand/addition in dKH per day?
Dose aquarium every 1-2 days. Shake well before using. Add 1 mL of Reef Fusion 1™ per 25 L (6.5 US gallons) of water. (For reference purposes, the cap holds 5 mL.) Add this to a high current area of the tank. Wait a few minutes, then add Reef Fusion 2™ in the same manner, 1 mL per 25 L (6.5 US gallons), after shaking well. It is preferred that the two products be added to separate locations in the tank. This dose contributes 4 mg/L of calcium, and 0.176 meq/L of alkalinity. Never mix Reef Fusion 1™ with Reef Fusion 2™ directly.

Hence why I does every 5 days. Like posted above the F1&2 dosing but the ATI I’ll be using is 1 to 9 ratio.

That is the directions. How do you know it is an appropriate dose in his system?

Thanks guys for the calculators. I’ve found those but those are to dose from and to get to calculations. My dose of each F1&2 10ml every 5 days will not equal to the same as a diluted 10ml ATI. I’m trying to figure out the difference and how much more ATI I need because potency is not the same.

Sorry, I see the ATI calculations which will be 24ml a day of each and then I’ll test daily and make adjustments as I go. I really appreciate the help!

I have 150g with 30g sump which in reality is about 120g water volume in my system.

That 10 mL was that missing info we needed. Do you still want us to help determine the new dose, or are you going to follow the generic start up directions?

I’m actually waiting on my dosing container coming today should be a few more hours Amazon works Ricky Bobby fast lol so in the mean time I’m double checking calibration on dosing pump. I’ll start mixing solutions in separate buckets to mix thoroughly. When it gets here will check for leaks and clean. Hopefully no leaks so I’ll be able to continue fingers crossed.

10 mL of Reef Fusion is about equal to 44 mL of the diluted ATI essential Pro.
Thank you so much for that I really appreciate you working the numbers out!! Now is it best to dose one day or throughout the week? I’ve read both sides and concluded its best throughout the week being that the water column would be more stable. What are your thoughts.
