switching from 2part to cal reactor

Hey there guys,

Ive recently bought a deltic cr twintech reactor I'm wondering what media to run in the unit as I haven't run one for 12-14 years.

I'm currently running 2 part dosing ESV and assuming this is replacing the trace elements I'm using or at least most of them and I do 15% WC once a week and add some amino's once a week and I'm happy with my results.

Are most ppl dosing trace of some sort with a reactor? or relying on the media they are running?

The reactor doesn’t reduce the need to replace trace elements taken up into organism tissues.

ESV B-ionic also does not replace those trace elements. Despite having some in it, it does not technically boost trace elements more than a tiny water change does (like 0.1% daily).

Hi Randy so what would be your choice for reactor media and thoughts for replacing the depleted trace?
