I’m thinking of taking the plunge . Switching from my 150 halide with 2 15 inch reefbrites to a Radion xr30 pro . How do I do it without bleaching/killing my corals ?

start the new LEDs on a low intensity settings and then every 2-3 days ramp them up a bit more, till you get to your final setting.

I just switched from 2x 175w halides to 2x AI Hydra 52's. Definitely worth the $ plunge, everything is happier, way better colors, and less heat/bulk. Not sure about radion, but AI have an acclimation program that slowly brightens your lights over however long you want. I just did 2 weeks and everything has flourished.

If you go slow, you will be fine. Keep the MH for a while. While they might initially look better under the Radions illuminating the color that they got growing under the MH, this will change in a few months when the narrower spectrum in the Radions makes this go away. You might like the new color better - some do. You also might hate it and wish that you had the MH back back - some do this as well. In any case, it will be different, but better or worse is up to you.
