Switching From T5 to Radion XR30W Pro

After a long phase of thinking and watching some videos on led's I decided to make the switch from t5s and recently bought 2 Radion XR30W Pro's. Now first question is will 2 radions be enough to light up my 60x18x24 112 gallon tank. Second what intensity do i start the leds and what settings for my tank that has lots of small to medium size frags of sps. Also some other tips and tricks on setup will help as i dont know much about radions. I plan on putting them up this friday. TIA

I would use three at least XR30s. Should not be an issue now while your stuff is small, but you are going to have some shadowing issues as your stuff grows... some people use a panel every foot over a highly stocked acropora tank... a XR 15 every foot would be better coverage side to side.

FWIW - I do not use these lights and would never choose them over T5s, so take that for whatever it means to you.

Alright wont be opening them just ordered a new Ati sunpower. Thanks for the input

Keep the T5s and ADD the radions.

I noticed a significant improvement in growth and coloration after supplementing my radions with T5s.

Radions for intensity/pop and T5s for coverage.

I have 4 radion xr30s over a 5 foot tank, if I could do it again I would go with as many xr15s with t5 to supplement. Instead I'm adding diffusers and different lenses to try and mimic t5 or halide.
