I am almost out of my tropic marin pro and Ive read and seen that there's a backorder across almost all vendors for this salt along with that, I am not too fond with the cost. That being said I love Tropic Marin salt but I am looking to get a new salt. The other options for me right now are hw (dont really know the difference between the reefer and professional), neo marine, and fritz rpm. I am not looking for what salt is the best because I understand how subjective that is, just want a salt that matches tropic marin pro parameters closely, mixes fast, and leaves no residue behind. The salt is for softies and lps.

In my eyes, salt is salt.

Take your pick as long as what you choose closely matches your tanks parameters. If none of those match your parameters, then choose one that is slightly lower and dose it up just like you would your tank.

I'm actually going back to regular instant ocean. Know SPS tanks doing really well on this salt, and it's the cheapest. $35 on Chewy right now for the 200g box.

Found it in stock on this website with a nice 40 dollar mark up.

Isn’t neo marine the closest to TM pro?

Just today placed an order for pro from Marine Depot.
