Switching off th UV

Has anybody noticed a change (good or bad) after switching the UV lamp off? I used a vecton 600 25w with a small pump so that UV sterilizing is effective. I think some corals are less happy. But may be unrelated

Not in my system - but I've never had the UV off for more than a few hours.

I don't have a UV but I'd go with whatever seems to make the corals happy

Turned mine off 6 months ago. Everything good. Maybe better.
While UV has its application in the hobby, it doesn’t distinguish between good guy algae and bad guy algae, so both are diminished.
