I am switching to the other side and finally picking up my first T5 fixture. However, I am unsure of a reputable brand. I am placing this on my 60g cube. (24x24x24) I plan on doing a 5/6 bulb fixture. Any ideas on a reputable fixture??? Thanks

I run a ATI Powermodule 6x24w fixture on my 24x24x20 50g and I personally think you can definitely get by with a T5 fixture but with your tank being 24" tall I would stick with the MH with T5 supplements.

You don't think T5's could handle the depth? I thought they would. Maybe I'll reconsider keeping the MH

They can hang... The par is not as great at those depths, so you won't have fantastic growth down low like a mh, but they work.. and honestly only people are obcessed with par not corals.... I was growing sps 36" down in my drop tank with 250w xm20ks which have very crappy par!!! The colors were great and growth was amaZing... Almost makes me want to use 175 on my new tank at 24" depth...

ATI Powermodule is the best out there right now as far as fixtures but if your gonna have a canopy you can get a retro fit with a good ballast and overdrive the bulbs but the bulbs wont last as long.I beleive TEK has good fixtures also.
