I'm currently using Instant Ocean Reef Crystals for salt. I have used it for about a year and have had great results. The problem is it has such high Alk and can throw off my Alk when doing a water change. I want to keep my Parameters as such Alk- 8.5, Calcium-450 and Mag- 1400.

I've been looking at Fritz salt and they are alot closer to where i'd want my parameters which i think will keep things even more stable.

Question will switching salts have any adverse effects?

Has anyone had good results with fritz?

Go with Instant Ocean salt, not the Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. Instant Ocean is close to NSW values. I use Tropic Marine Pro (the Pro is NWS parameters).
