Switching tanks end the cycle?

Hi, so I currently have a Fluval flex and wanted to switch out the tank for an evo 13.5. If I were to add new sand to the evo and add my water/rock from my flex tank will this cause any kind of pause/issues with the cycle?just becuase I have corraline algae growing fast in the tank and don’t want it to affect it.
