Switching to ESV

Are you talking about salt mix??? I actually switched for about 150 gallons worth of water changes. It is a pretty good mix. At the beginning I was having great results but after a while some of the corals were not as vibrant as they were before. I ended up going back to Tropic Marin Pro Reef. I have tried almost every high end salt out there and always end up going back...LOL

Yes Salt mix, I've always used reef crystals but I'm looking for something closer to 8Dkh. I tried TMP for a while and got really turned off when I had two full buckets mix at 3dkh.

I use it.. Its the best out there. If you do 10 percent WC every week, and as long as you don't have a high Ca load, you may never have to use Alk Ca or Mag additives. If you have a lot of sps lps and and other you will probably have to dose some :]

Oh yeah and make sure you read the directions, Ie. always start with less water than 5 gallons or whatever gallons you are using because it is a four part mix and if you have too much ro water your salinity will be too low and its a pita to back up. easier to add water to lower the salinity. Andddd. get a graduated 250 ml 0r 500 ml plastic measuring cylinder, its is lot better than weighing liquid on a digital scale as I have seen others doo. I can go from mix to the tank in as little as ten minutes.. It mixes up crystal clear
