I’ll be swapping out my black boxes for a set of Kessil a360we Tunablue’s in a couple days.
I currently run the boxes at 85% blue channel, 50% white channel with no lenses. Those settings are where I max out for about 6 hours during the day and ramp up and down in the morning and evening.
Just looking for advice for acclimating everything to the Kessil’s. Should I use Kessil’s acclimation setting, or just gradually increase the power myself over time? I’ll be using the Kessil controller.
I have a mixed reef setup and the lights will be about 8” from the water.
Thanks for any suggestions!

What size tank are they going over? I'd run them closer to 6.5 inches off the waters surface. The Kessil controller does have an acclimation mode that you can have it run for up to 14 days I believe. After that 14 days it switches over to the regular schedule you've programmed into it :)

Thank you for the warm welcome!
They will be running over a 75 gallon tank. It works out well cause the small amount is SPS I have will be right under the lights with most of my lps/softies off to the sides and bottom.

On a 75, you're probably safe eventually running the kessils up to 80 to 100% intensity (over a period of time for acclimation) I had a pair on a 40 breeder which is a similar footprint only the 75 is a foot longer and I believe a few inches taller, and I had mine running around 70% and was getting coral growth out of everything :)

Awesome! I’m really anxious to see how things look and react under these lights. Thanks for everyone’s input!
