This coral started to swell like a balloon a few days ago, the other flowerpot coral is doing good, I had a hard time finding info on this. I ended up talking to someone at a reputable aquarium store and he said they sometimes fill w water esp after you target feed and that it was normal. The next day though it had exploded towards the back of the coral so I took it out. Anyone have any input w this because I do have another one but it seems good.

Define "exploded"? Mine occasionally do this when I disturb them or just fed them, but it never lasts long.

That is normal, they do that after feeding. One of the secrets to flowerpots in my experience is to never touch them with your hands. They don't like that at all and it is like they die right where you touch them.

Yours looks very good. Just keep some reef roids or other type of food in the water column a few times a week and it will do great.
