I am fairly new to tangs and have no idea what is on my sailfin. He has a little ich that he is getting treated for and my vampires has (i think) black ich so I am treating with prazipro but what is on my sailfin’s mouth??

If it showed up suddenly, it is likely from the fish getting frightened and running into something. I don't see any sign of infection.

As a side note - is the yellow tang new? It looks pretty thin and pale - you may have a challenge getting enough food to it....

Something that happens occasionally with tangs based on both glass surfing, up and down glass and also their grazing abilities peck on glass and rock for algae
That can be reduced with a seaweed clip and nori seaweed
This swelling should subside on its own but treatment in a separate tank with seachem kanaplex too will help

The yellow tang is young but fiesty and i make sure there is plenty of food I’ve actually not had any issues with food fighting
