Hi everyone. I want to share and ask your opinion on the relationship between my fish. I own two Columbian sharks and a Mono Argentus. I first got one of the CS about 18 months ago, then I got a second one about 4 months ago and after that I added the Mono to the tank. It was a 55g and they were the only fish in there. I acclimated them to saltwater but the funny thing is that it seemed as if they were all swimming together 99% of the time but I assumed it was due to the small sized aquarium. I upgraded to a 180g about a week ago and now that they have plenty of room they still swim together most of the time, going from one side to the other all together and the mono seems to be very protective as he wont let other fishes near the biggest shark.

Is this some kind of symbiotic relationship that occurs in the wild? Or is it just weird?
