I've been slowly stocking my 120 over the past year. I'm up to 5 fish, 9 corals, 3 urchins and many hermits, but 3 big enough to identify and count. I make sure to see each of them every day. But for a 120, I have lots more stocking to do, especially of corals.
I know the numbers, because I have to count to avoid forgetting anyone. At first I tried just remembering where I put the frags, but one day I counted and realized one was missing. It took me a while to remember which one and find that the frag had dislodged and fallen under some rock.
Now I know what a mother duck feels like, keeping track of all those ducklings.
How does everyone else do it? Have you ever realized something is missing, but couldn't remember the last time you saw it? When someone doesn't make it, do you ever find and remove the body, or does CUC make quick work of it before you have a chance?
